GIRL SCOUT

HORSE BADGE PROGRAMS

At Misty Meadows, LLC. the girl scouts can earn their badges in one day along with camping which is optional. Safety is always emphasized in all areas of riding and basic horsemanship skills will be taught before, during and after each lesson.

Riding helmets are ASTM/SEI and will be provided for each girl before they mount the horse. All girls should wear comfortable clothing - long pants with shoes that have a half inch heel.

(Any canvas, open toed, clogs or flip-flops are NOT allowed).

Various Programs Available

Fees range from $20 - $85 per girl.

All adults and chaperons are not charged a fee since they will NOT be riding the horses.

Badges are included and will be handed out with certificate of completion.

The camping part for some of the programs include use of facilities along with grooming and feeding the horses.

S'mores are included with the camping fee ($10 per girl).

ALL ACTIVITIES ARE FUN AND VERY EDUCATIONAL!!
